INGRIDIENTS:
Cabbage | 1 small |
Ground Pork | 1 lb (or any meat of your choice) |
Carrot | 1 big |
Onion | 1 medium |
Tomato Paste | 1 can |
Rice | 1 cup |
salt/ pepper | to taste |
Sour Cream | 2-3 tbsp |

Cut cabbage into small pieces and place into a pot with boiling water for a few minutes until cabbage is soft. Then strain it (you can use that water later for your sauce).
Next combine meat, chopped onion, grated carrots, cabbage, 1 cup of rice, salt pepper to taste. Mix all the ingredients, form into balls(size of a tennis ball) with your hands (each should be about 1/2 cup of the meat mixture). Arrange in oiled frying pen.
Fry your cabbage balls for a little bit and then pour your sauce until almost covered ( in 1 liter of water mix 1 can 156ml tomato paste and two full tbsp sour cream, salt. pepper). Cover with the lid and boil on a medium heat for 1 hour.
